This activity was created specifically for a kindergarten classroom. The teachers use a theme each week (or so) to focus on. It follows a simple "recipe" for a digital activity for these littles ones. This holiday theme asks students to:
- listen to directions via Mote audio notes; written directions also included
- type "St Patrick's Day" & supports learning about capital letters
- math practice - counting and addition
- drag & drop letters to complete words
This was created in Google Slides and shared in Google Classroom as an assignment, using the "Make a copy" option for each student. A tractor emoji was used as the first character of the assignment for quicker student recognition.
As your students become more comfortable with seeing and doing activities, they will become a little more independent. You then will have the time and ability to help those who need extra guidance.
