This activity was created specifically for a kindergarten classroom. Thetheme this week was butterflies and their life cycle. I try to follow a simple "recipe" for digital activities:
- visually appealing
- Mote audio notes, to support reading
- matching
- written directions
- typing practice
- letter sounds
- drag & drop
This was created in Google Slides and shared in Google Classroom as an assignment, using the "Make a copy" option for each student. A butterfly emoji was used as the first character of the assignment for quicker student recognition.
As your students become more comfortable with seeing and doing activities, they will become a little more independent. You then will have the time and ability to help those who need extra guidance.
