Halloween - matching & memory games

Halloween - matching & memory games

Playing games is a super fun way of enhancing and reinforcing learning ... all while practicing skills our student need to learn!

Both of these games were created using Flippity.net. The creator builds all of the activities on his site using Google Sheets. I recommend posting the link in your Google Classroom or location you regularly post links.

This pairing allows students to practice matching colors to their name. Don't worry if your littles aren't reading yet, there is the option to hear the words, too! And identifying speakers & what they do is a great skill - one that will aide them for the rest of their lives! (I look for speakers to read things to me!)

One of the games has all the cards face up ... the other has them face down for a little memory challenge, too, for students that are a little older and ready for that challenge.

If you like this, you can create more games like this with any theme. You can find the template on the Flippity.net website. If you make one, will you share it in the comments below? We are better together!

πŸ’₯Bonus πŸ’₯Each time your students click the link, the cards are automatically shuffled and randomized, ensuring the cards are always in unique positions!

Matching Halloween πŸ‘‰ students match Halloween images to their names

Memory Halloween πŸ‘‰ students must use their memory as they work through this game to remember where they saw the Halloween image to match up with its name

Did you try it out?
